May 15, 2008
Niles, IL- Two people died today as a result of smoke inhalation suffered during a fire at a nursing home in Niles, IL. The fire occurred in a room at the Hampton Plaza Nursing Home. The cause of the fire is under investigation. As with any fire involving serious personal injury or death, the fire department immediately begins an intense investigation into the cause and origin of the fire. When possible, it is important for a family considering legal action to immediately retain an attorney in order to review the scene, the evidence, speak to witnesses and to ensure that any important evidence is secured.
