May 07, 2008
On May 6, 2008, Lane & Lane, LLC obtained a substantial settlement via mediation for a 63 y.o. widow and her 2 adult children. Our client's husband died after suffering an aortic dissection. He presented to the Emergency Room at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, IL, where he died several hours later. Lane & Lane, LLC and their expert physicians alleged that the emergency room doctor and staff members failed to obtain the appropriate testing in a timely manner that likely would have saved him. The settlement should be approved in the coming weeks in the Circuit Court of Winnebego County, IL.
